It's finally done. After one month of late nights, working on days off and banging my head on my keyboard to get the code to work, I can finally announce that Dragon Dating Simulator is available to play RIGHT NOW!

I want to thank the people both online and IRL that have supported me this month in what I'm doing. It's been rough going, but I loved creating this game and I'm so excited to share it with all of you~! I'd also like to thank the AmareDev Discord, as well as those in my friend's "Geeks Guilds and Gamers" Discord, for being so welcoming; I couldn't have gotten this far without the help of more experienced game devs helping me along, voice-chatting with me to figure out coding issues, and helping me figure out where I'm going.

Special thanks to my friend LuckyFields, who swept in halfway through this process when I needed sprite art and took on the challenge of creating six characters, all with a bajillion facial expressions. He is an absolute rock star, please go check out his work!

Where things go from here:

Now that I don't have the pressure of a deadline, I plan to continue to improve the game going forward. Due to time constraints I was unable to find an artist to make certain item sprites or CGs. I obviously plan to update the game with improved sprites and event CGs. I would also like to increase the word count somewhat, as there's some branches I would like to add/change. If there's anything else that can be improved upon, or anything y'all think the game needs. let me know!

This game started out as an April Fool's Day joke, and is now an entire realized game! I wrote this story, first and foremost, because it is the kind of story I want to read. Over the past month, my desire  has changed, and now I hope this is the kind of game that y'all can love too!
